Join us Friday, October 9 at 8pm to celebrate Ashley Mahoney (Charlotte Axios) and the release of her debut book, Historic Maps of Charlotte!
Charlotte is notorious for bulldozing its history. Mahoney has unearthed dozens of rare maps that shed new light on Charlotte’s history and draw a clear path to the city we know and love today.
Ashley Mahoney is an award-winning journalist based in Charlotte. Many of the subjects explored in Historic Maps of Charlotte, from Camp North End to Independence Park, have been part of her coverage for Axios Charlotte and the Charlotte Post.
