Matt Cosper

Ken Mitten
Ken is a grief and trauma therapist with Novant Hospice and had a former life- in this one- as a director and actor in Chicago and beyond. Ken hopes to bring curiosity and humor to discussion of the memoirs and novels that will be discussed in these clubs. Honored and excited that this will happen via Troubadour Booksellers.

Each month, Troubadour Booksellers hosts the Charlotte chapter of the Morbidly Curious Book Club. MCBC is a nonfiction book club exploring the macabre. If you are interested in the Charlotte chapter of the Morbidly Curious Book Club, which is not operated by Troubadour Booksellers, please check out the link below.
The Morbidly Curious Book Club generally meets the 3rd Sunday of every month at Troubadour Booksellers from 12:00-2:00pm. Go to our events page to check out the next meeting.

Troubadour Booksellers hosts a Silent Book Club the last Wednesday of every month, 5:30-7:30pm. This is an opportunity for book lovers to hang out together in a warm, welcoming atmosphere and do what they love most: READ! Bring a book or pick up a new one and relax for a couple of hours. We’ll turn on some low, instrumental music and keep things calm and quiet. There is an optional informal discussion period in the last half hour, during which you can talk about what you’re reading with your neighbors. No sign up or registration is required.
