Tiffany Bryant-Jackson
Tiffany is an actor, storyteller, teaching artist, and arts advocate with a deep passion for community engagement. As a Charlotte transplant, she has dedicated herself to creating inclusive spaces for meaningful conversations through the arts. Her journey in theatre and education led her to witness firsthand the transformative power of storytelling and the importance of accessibility in the arts. As a book club facilitator, Tiffany brings her love of literature, dynamic storytelling, and commitment to fostering thought-provoking discussions that connect readers to new perspectives and each other.

Scott Tynes-Miller
Scott is the owner and manager of Troubadour Booksellers. He is a husband and father, an actor, a sometimes writer, and an avid reader of many genres. In addition to selling books, he also loves talking about books! He’s excited to read and discuss fictional dystopias in order to better understand nonfictional ones!

Annelise Jancula
Annelise is an avid reader with a love for all things spooky and horror. Raised on Goosebumps and Tales from the Crypt, her passion for horror has only deepened. Annelise hopes to bring together other readers who can explore the many facets of the genre and celebrate the fun of being scared.

Ken Mitten
Ken is a grief and trauma therapist with Novant Hospice and had a former life- in this one- as a director and actor in Chicago and beyond. Ken hopes to bring curiosity and humor to discussion of the memoirs and novels that will be discussed in these clubs. Honored and excited that this will happen via Troubadour Booksellers.

Nathan Rouse
Nathan wears many hats: father, spouse, occasional theater practitioner, sometime performer, routine podcaster… and now, monthly book club moderator!
One of his earliest jobs was at a book store so it just suits to find himself back amongst the shelves and the sheaves, this time representing the long running podcast he co-hosts with another NC native (now East Coast resident), Reed Lackey.
Nathan’s thrilled to be channeling the ethos and energy of The Fear of God, going strong since 2016, into the Troubadour book club setting. Every month we’ll find and explore a new text to exhume from it what scares us in hopes of discovering what saves us.

Golda Fried
Golda is a teacher / writer / artist who lives in Charlotte with her husband and three dogs. She is one of those people who finds truth to be stranger than fiction and would love to discuss how others see the world in the memoir book club with you. The memoirs read will contain dark topics–please avoid this club if you are triggered by swearing, substance abuse, divorce, death, domestic violence, mental illness, etc.

Lucy Grein
Lucy is a parent educator and consultant new to Charlotte. She teaches the Intuitive Parenting Model and is passionate about creating spaces where parents can connect, share honestly, and build community. As a book club facilitator, Lucy is excited to bring parents together over books—exploring parenting through memoirs, self-help, and fiction in a space where all experiences are welcome. When she’s not working with families, you’ll find her reading, making music, or playing board games.
